The Cameras I Use for Dog Training Videos

In this video I share the two cameras I use to film my dog training and fun dog content. The Insta360 GO 3 is perfect for creative angles and unique POV shots, especially when attached to dog toys for a fun perspective. I also use the Insta360 X4 for training sessions because the 360° lenses allow me to place the camera anywhere and choose the best angles later during editing.

Hands-Free Dog Care with Meta Ray Ban

Using my Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses (2nd Gen), I check the temperature outside and ask if it’s safe for my Shih Tzu. This video highlights how hands-free AI can help make smarter, safer decisions for dogs in everyday situations.

  • Using Meta Glasses to Identify Spot & Tango

In this video I use my Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses (2nd Gen) to identify Ella’s food from Spot & Tango. By asking Meta what I’m looking at, the AI recognizes the Beef & Barley recipe and reads the ingredients directly from the bag. I also ask about the benefits of feeding Spot & Tango, highlighting its gently cooked, human-grade ingredients and balanced nutrition for dogs.

How I Use Mealtime as a Training Tool

Ella’s excitement around food makes it the perfect opportunity for structured engagement work. Instead of free-feeding, I use her meals to reinforce obedience, impulse control, and focus.

Hand feeding allows me to strengthen our communication while keeping training positive and rewarding. Every trick she performs earns her fuel — turning mealtime into enrichment rather than just routine feeding.

High-quality nutrition + intentional interaction = a stronger bond and a fulfilled dog.

    Rainy Walks? No Problem

Rain doesn’t stop our walks — and now it doesn’t soak my socks either. These Nike waterproof trail running shoes let me walk through wet grass and puddles with Ella without worrying about getting my feet wet. Best part? I just spray them off with the hose when we get home. Dry feet, clean shoes, and zero excuses on rainy days.

    Building Confidence Through Counter Conditioning

This video documents Ella’s confidence journey using structured counter conditioning. After initially panicking when approached by a neighbor, I began pairing new environments and social exposure with hand feeding using Spot & Tango. By creating positive associations, her emotional response shifted from avoidance to curiosity, resulting in calmer behavior and increased confidence in everyday situations.

Building My First Website Was Easier Than I Thought

I recently built a website for my dog training and UGC portfolio using Squarespace and was surprised by how easy it was. The templates made it simple to create a clean, professional site, and I could quickly add videos to my portfolio. I also liked that I could make quick edits from my laptop or my phone, which made managing my site really convenient. If you’re a creator or small business owner, it’s definitely worth trying.

  • Turning Meals Into Training Rewards

I use Ella’s meals from Spot & Tango as high-value rewards during training sessions. Because the food is so motivating, it makes it easy to reinforce behaviors and teach new tricks like roll over and play dead. In this clip, Ella holds a down-stay while I explain how I incorporate her meals into training before releasing her to earn her reward.
